To Kill A Mockingbird - Next Book
Lawyer Atticus Finch defends the real mockingbird of Harper Lee's classic, Puliter Prize-winning novel; a black man charged with the rape of a white woman. Through the eyes of Atticus's children, Scout and Jem Finch, Harper Lee explores with rich humor and unanswering honesty the irrationality of adult attitudes toward race and class in the Deep South of the 1930s.
Whoot!
I'm excited to re-read this book. I read it when I was 13, and my perspective of the world was a little different than it is now. I think revisiting this book, for many of us, will be fun.

Geek Love
I an effort to update our neglected blog, I've added our most recent book selection ... Geek Love by Katherine Dunn. Since we weren't able to get together to discuss Cooking Dirty, then we should make our next meeting a combo and talk about both. When should we meet? How about March 18th ... we could still go to the Fly Trap if that sounds good. Happy reading!
